Local, organic and Fair Trade are the priorities where our food is concerned at

Boots and Boards, and you will find that the Aga makes a cooked breakfast very special.

 

BREAKFAST   You will be able to help yourself to the following, which will be ready for you in the dining room at the time you choose:

 

Fruit juice   Fresh fruit   Organic yoghurt   A selection of cereals   Fair Trade tea and coffee   Fruit teas  and   ‘Serve yourself’ bread/toast with a choice of spreads

 

If you would also like a cooked breakfast, you can have porridge,

OR a full Cumbrian breakfast

(everything on the list below!), OR you can just choose some of the items.

 

Cumberland sausage (from a local farm) OR a vegetarian sausage

Locally produced bacon

Fried local free-range egg

A slice of Black Pudding (locally homemade)

Fried tomato

Fried mushroom

Fried bread

 

 

 

PACKED LUNCHES can also be ordered (the night before

you need them) at an additional cost of £5.00

 

Your packed lunch will include two rounds of sandwiches, crisps, a

Fair Trade chocolate wafer bar, a fruit drink and your choice of fruit.

EVENING MEALS are not served at Boots and Boards, but you will find a wide choice of pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Our local pub is The Miners Arms, about 100 metres away! Visit www.theminersarms.net .
